Working With Your Technology Management Team
How to schedule sessions, communicate, submit requests, and keep work moving.
Strategy and training sessions
Strategy sessions provide 45 minutes to discuss business challenges, explore solutions, ask questions, and plan how to use your supported technology effectively.
Training sessions provide 30 to 60 minutes, depending on your plan, to help your team understand functionality and address enablement questions.
To book either type, open the client portal and select Schedule in the available strategy or training sessions section. Training sessions and strategy calls have separate plan allowances and do not count toward task limits. Strategy and training sessions are not interchangeable. See What’s Included in My Plan? for allowances.
Keep communication with the task
Use the client portal to keep requests, decisions, and feedback organized. Portal messages also generate email notifications containing the message. You can reply directly to that email without signing in to the portal.
Submit requests through designated users
Designated users submit their own requests through the portal. You can submit a request even if some details are unclear. During triage, we will ask for any missing information or materials needed to understand the work.
Responding promptly during triage helps us confirm scope and prepare the task for delivery.
Understand estimates and the queue
An Accepted task includes a rough estimate of the effort or time needed. That estimate starts when the task moves to Working, not when it is accepted.
When work begins, we provide an estimated delivery timeframe. Complexity, feedback, and dependencies can affect completion.
Tasks waiting for your approval continue to occupy capacity. Confirm that a task in Pending Approval can be marked Complete so we can move to the next accepted request. Professional supports two tasks at a time and Enterprise supports three.
Build and prioritize your backlog
You can submit as many in-scope requests as you need. Your plan determines how many can be delivered or worked on at once. Keep the backlog ordered by priority and tell us which deadlines matter.
See Task Stages and Limitations and Best Practices for more guidance.
